We redesigned Gilsan Sports eCommerce site in time for the Christmas buying season.
Back in 2008, we designed and branded the original Gilsan Sports eCommerce website. This year, it was time for a refresh, so we rebuilt their site from the ground up. We made it easier for customers to find products they’re looking for and integrated closely with Sage Pay, to improve sales.
What We Did
- Redesigned their existing eCommerce website (based on an older version of our in-house eCommerce platform)
- Designed a visually appealing, unique online store.
- Performed search engine optimisation and conversion optimisation to improve sales.
- Developed a bespoke eCommerce platform using Sage Pay.
- Streamlined the buying process, making it as easier for customers to find and pay for their goods.
- Built extensive financial reporting accessible through the website’s back-end.
- Set up an extensive series of redirects to ensure that redundant urls from the old site are redirected to their counterparts on the new site (over 50,000 redirects added).
